A well thought-out touchscreen interface for large displays (larger than 55") will allow users to easily perform their intended tasks and reduce confusion. Incorporating basic touchscreen usability features into the interface design will greatly improve user engagement and satisfaction, including considering hand movements, eye scanning and head movement, and multiple participants.
Since 2020, NEKOSS has been researching and consulting on digital whiteboards for large interactive displays: There is much more work to be done! Consequently, we are studying implementing agnostic "Showcase Centers" for large interactive displays in key cities around the world so as to compare a variety of new hardware against the applications by leading collaborative whiteboard solutions in hybrid scenarios.
